So I recently saw the new movie "Black Swan". Oh my god. What can I say. It's probably one of my all time favorite movies ever. It was THAT good. So as I'm sitting here in my just finished Swan Lake make-up, I'm gonna rant about how freaking awesome that movie was. Well actually, I really can't say that much because I just loved everything about it. But I DEFINITELY recommend anybody to go see this movie. You will be wetting your seat.
So this is a picture of me I took in me Black Swan getup. Which, I might add, took like 40 shots to find one I actually liked. I really wanted to get a full body length shot but I couldn't do that with the lighting being really suck-y and the fact that I'm kind of tall and can never fit my whole body in the picture. Well this one was halfway decent, I guess. But please, go take your $10 or however much it is to get into a movie, and buy yourself one of the best experiences of your life.

well, i know this much is true.
As many Americans know, America's Next Top Model is a big deal...for some. I've begun to realize that each season tends to suck more than the previous. It's a chain reaction, really. The first few seasons of ANTM were so fun to watch, interesting, and had some very glamorous contestants. The runner up for the very first season of ANTM was one of my favorites. Oh my darling, Elyse Sewell. I didn't watch the whole first season but I've seen her around and I'm personally glad she didn't win because she's waaay too glamorous to be the spokesperson, or whatever, for Covergirl. It kind of amazes me how hard Tyra Banks, and the whole league of America's Next Top Model, try to make the show so high fashion. And they eventually just ran out of awesome places to go out of this country. I guess it's kind of ironic because they seem really antsy to get out of America. It's all like "HEY EVERYONE, WELCOME TO AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLL, ok, now everyone hop on that damn plane." America's Next Top Model. Irony? I think so too.

Alright, jump to this season. So I think I'm developing psychic powers or something because I seem to know practically every season, who's going to win, and who will be sent home. Last season's winner was, ahhhhhhh, I can't remember...OH! Krista. I barely even care anymore. Okay, well, I didn't know she was going to win nor did I care. But a few seasons ago there was Nicole. Not fifth cycle Nicole, but like, thireenth cycle Nicole. Yeah, her. I liked her. A lot. She was so bizarre and beautiful and I just knew right from the very beginning that she was going to win. So, I guess my point being is that Top Model is one, whole, big clichè. I guess you could say I'm kind of nostalgic about going back to the first couple of seasons, using those same pretty people again, use whatever's left over of their modeling "experience", and run a good, time-worthy, show. I cannot say that I will be staying tuned for next season. I have to admit though, I'm very happy Ann won this season. Chelsea was just annoying and overly self-confident. Is it just me or do the contestants get ghetto-er and trashier every season? Ha, ha, ha, yes readers, they do.

one more time, with feeling.
Is anyone else completely obsessed with Regina Spektor's newest CD?! GAH, I'm in loooooove with it. My sister bought this at our nearby Target and the lady who rang her up was like, "I'm in love with this album." She sets such a classy example and has such a unique, happy personality. She makes Zooey Deschanel look
Pros (proes..?): Her songs are just downright wonderful. They make me so happy and make me feel girly and make me forget about crappy things like school and my "teen angst".
Cons: Her lyrics aren't really about anything in particular.. I think some of them are funny and cute, but others are just kind of, well, a little too far fetched for me. But overall, I think she's a magnificent artist. ;)
hello, hello, hello
So, this is my first time, as a 14 year old, blogging.. bloggering.. blog-sting..? Whatever it is. I'm not really sure how to say, 'I'm starting this blog because I have an interest in fashion, photography, art, music, make-up, food, etc.' in a smart sounding way. Well anyways, there you have it. Keep posted if you want to hear me rant on about things like the way Larry David looks in a batman cape sorta thing. Or how I try so desperately hard to grow out my fingernails but then just end up biting 'em down to the nub.
